Puffy eyes and under eye bags can be caused by stress, crying, or other
heredity factors. Check out these remedies to help reduce the
puffiness:
1. Drink adequate amounts of water to keep the system flushed
2. Sleep soothes the eyes and relieves fatigue from the body. Get as
close to 8 hours as you can.
3. Take a metal spoon and run it under cold water. Place the metal on
the puffy area for at least 60 seconds.
4. Elevate your head with pillows. This should keep fluids from
settling uner the eyes.
5. Wrap a wash cloth around ice, splash some cold water and apply to
the eyes.
6. Apply hemorrhoid cream (look for brands that contain ingredients of
yeast and shark’s liver oil) to the puffy area.
7. Soak a black tea bag in cold water and apply on each eye for ten
minutes to reduce swelling caused by fluid retention.
8. Avoid salty foods, which cause the entire body to hold fluid.
